Black erotica’s silent muse…

…the fitting epithet and embodiment of Brooklyn dancer, Right Now Rouge. With over two decades of movement exploration via personal training, hip-hop, contemporary ballet, erotic and aerial arts, this multidisciplinary artist pushes boundaries and transforms energy on and off the stage.

Getting their start as a mixed media model turned performer, Right Now Rouge has spent the past 13 years as a resident burlesque dancer for the Black erotica show, The Sweet Spot. From coast to coast, Rouge’s pieces have been able to evoke emotion and thought in places such as Sony Music Hall, The Howard Theatre, The Promontory, and Center Stage ATL, and more.

Their work has also allowed them to sharethe stage with iconic productions such as Frolic Burlesque, Venus Cuffs Events, International Pole Con, Sex Down South, and more.

As a sex worker and queer identifying performer, Right Now Rouge has been an outspoken, uncensored voice in support of marginalized communities. Through storytelling on a stage, to individualized work with other dancers, they push to amplify both the voices of the oppressed, and the necessary healing for these groups to grow.

When they’re not rolling in glitter or protesting injustice, Rouge devotes their time to cultivating safe movement spaces and sharing their dance knowledge with pole enthusiasts and creative artists alike.
